To my main man tough guy (3 points): Harada fought too many bouts in Japan. Jofre was not as good a fighter or puncher as Olivares.

Biggest negative/criticism of all (all but one of his fights were in Japan and 90% of his victories were over Asian fighters [his record was padded])

Olivares - W 88 (KO's 78) TF104 - W pct 85% - KO pct 75% - wins Rose, Castillo[2] and Chacon - KO'ed by Castillo, Arguello, Lopez and Pedrosa (it could be considered too many KO losses for such a great fighter) - #12 ranked puncher - #29 ranked fighter

Both fighters are equal in overall ability. Olivares has more experience and much more punching power. My man Olivares in a 13 rd KO.

I loved both of these guys, they were both brave warriors. I always use to wonder what would have happened if Masahiko fighting Harada had not been robbed of the featherweight title fight with Johnny Famechon. Would he have fought in the lightweight division. Ruben I think had the better boxing skills, Harada was a brawler with a solid punch and Ruben a puncher who could box. I go for Ruben Olivares but it would be tough because Harada was very strong and I guess so was Ruben.

Fighting Harada is a legend especially in Japan and Olivares is one of the most brutal punchers ever in his weight class. I believe that Olivares would be favored but that Harada would survive just like he did against Jofre in the early rounds and outbox the hard hitting Olivares and win by majority decision.
