A girl I know, who is very outgoing, got exceptionally flirty with me. She would touch me and get close to me and treat me nicely. Anyway, I backed off because of how obvious the flirting was getting and I was a bit unsure. I merely thought we were good friends at the time. After a couple weeks, she sent her sister to me to ask if I was mad at her. I am wondering if this signifies that she likes me because after thinking it over, I like her now!

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Girls flirt real hard in hopes guys will get the hint. Sometimes they don't. Best answer is be direct and talk to her. Tell her you were confused and ask her to forgive you for backing off and not simply talking to her about it. Friends talk--even about the hard stuff.

Yea that would mean she likes you, or did. I had a guy friend and we were close but then he backed off and wouldn't talk to me so i lost intrest. If you like her then you better hurry because she might have lost interest too.
