People are easily fooled.
Think about the people who committed horrible crimes for years before they were caught.
Regarding child sex abuse, you've got a whole group of religious leaders in hot water.
Who would have even thought that possible, decades ago?
There's no telling what's going on in your (or my) neighborhood right now, that might have been going on for years...but no one knew!
