also i won't stay or support any army that is disrespectfull to its recruits. in the perfect world everything is entitled to respect.

You are a wimp!!! Yeah, right go on into the Canadian Army with that
little crybaby attitude and your life will be a living hell, if not from the
drill sergeant then from other recruits. I hope you are not an American
considering service in Canada - I will give you the benefit of the doubt
on that one. You need to pursue something more in a touchy feely
line of work.

Yes , the military of all nations have bespectacled soldiers in their ranks. As far as staying in after you sign up, you have to meet the obligations of your service contract, regardless of you are treated.If you are mistreated, you have recourses to rectify the situation.

define "disrespectful"? if you go in there thinking you'll be treated like a king then don't bother. it's not what you're there for. and yes you can join even with glasses.
