Oh it was ALL so much fun --- although I think that when we got to 'raid' the camp store late at night was pretty awesome, and when we used to play pranks on our counselors, LOL. We would also go on fun cabin activities -- like one time we we ker-splunking which involves sliding down a mud hil, so it was great. I also learned how to sail at camp and about building campfires and cooking under campfires... so great.
And, at the time, I liked how knowledgeable all the counselors were about the bible and could always answer my questions about things I didn't quite understand or wasn't quite sure about. Although, now I'm not Christian anymore -- but I'll always cherish the memories I made at Camp Cherith. :-)

Oh my Goodness what is my favorite thing about Christian Summer Camp? That is one of the hardest questions because all of it is my favorite from worshiping and praising the Lord Christ to praying and rejoicing!!

When I was a kid, my favorite thing about camp were the songs. We would all sing along under the stars before we went to bed. The old hippie guy would play along on his guitar.

Being among people that have the same goal as you. It is fun being with people that will encourage you to live a life that is pleaseing to God. you have fun and you grow spiritually. The pillow fights and pranks never hurt either (lol).

I do AWANA Camp every year, and I have to say that it's the loving atmosphere and the conversations about Scripture.
