Yes. We're not accomplishing anything.
Look at it from a simple cost-benefit analysis. How much money and how many troops did we lose topping Saddam's regime (dozens). How much money and how many troops have we lost trying to hold the insurgents off long enough to install a new government (thousands).
From a simple logistics and cost-benefit perspective, it's far more effective for us to pull out, let Iraq form whatever government it wants. If we don't like it, we invade and topple it again, until eventually they do what we want. That will cost much less money and far fewer lives than staying there.

Well, they need to fix the the **** they started, you don't go F**k up a country and leave it there even though so many countries have done it (colonization/imperialism),but the united states army and government should have had a game plan, and i think in one year or so they will have to pull out the troops because i know they won't leave till iraq is stablized cause when iraq is stablilized hahah the U.S can get oil cheap!!!

No...I think that will be a big mistake....I think the US troops should stay in Iraq (especially) ...but discreetly. They should give more control to the Iraqi army...and use different tactics to handle these terrorists. They should start getting closer to the civilians....and become less trigger happy. When ever there is any info on terrorists...let the Iraqi army handle it...while the US military backs them up with air units, intelligence and marines. They should also make sure that where ever they go...they must do minimum damage to that place...because...a physical damage can be seen by everyone....and thats what creates opinions.

Ok screw the Middle East and Go USA lets get the hell out of there and let those muslims engulf themselves in there own $hit. I don't have anything against muslims but the US has a tendency to get involve in things where we don't need to get involve. If I remember and I'm sure everyone here remembers our first President (President George Washington for all you slow people out there)said we need to be in a state of Isolationism so we don't get involve into affairs where the US is not needed. I know it wasn't the US fault for getting into WW1 and WW2 because other countries dragged us into it. But after that we shouldve kept to ourselves, not to the point where we won't defend ourselves. Now look where we are so much turmoil in the Middle East dozens of US soldiers getting killed (God Bless them and their Families) and innocent people killed. All I'm saying is we should get the troops out and let the Middle East deal with their problems and deal with the problems we have here such as immigration adn the border problems.

ok my husband is deployed now, i think we cant leave a country destroyed, as bad as i want my husband home, and i know he is missing me and the kids, we both agree that it is not a great idea to leave it like that...if we pull out we run the risk of losing the oil supply and with no hope of drilling in alaska it might not be such a great idea.

Personally, I think they should pull out of the cities, and stop letting our people be targets. But maintain camps, and give air support, or land support if it gets rough. And go from there.
