Where are you based? Some of the classifieds are quite expensive, or have a limited audience.

If you're in the UK, someone mentioned http://www.buyyourcar.co.uk on an earlier question, and for £2.45 to advertise your car - you can't really go wrong.

I'd probably go for that, and possibly the local papers - depends on the value of the car as well I suppose.

get white shoe polish and write for sale on the windows with a phone number so they can contact you. Or take a ad out in the classified section of your local news paper.

carmax will buy it and will give you whats its worth.I just sold an 04 mustang to them
