I just moved and Im starting middle school on the 22. What can I do to calm my nerves? I have read a few books, but it hasn't helped much.

Just be yourself. Don't change your personality just to fit in with the crowd. You'll have fun in middle school. Enjoy it!

I went to a new school every few years when I was in school. Don't be afraid to talk to people. Ask open-ended questions that require more than a yes/no answer. Play sports because your team becomes your family! Be nice, confident, and approachable. You'll do great!

Go to events before school...anything that the community offers or anything based around that idea. Then you can meet people that might be going to your same middle school and become friends with them.

Realize that despite the fear, when you get there you WILL make friends and it'll be cool.
Just calm down. Breathe. And realize that the most beautiful people are the ones with the high self-esteem.

Just deal with it. I had to when I moved to a different town. Live life, see what happens, you cant stop time.

dont worry. you'll be fine. Its hard starting at a new school, but in no time you'll make new friends. Just be yourself and have confidence.

i started middle skool last year..dont worry its not as hard as u think...the teachers are usully easy on you becauos ur new. remember stay cool and calm.... if u get lost please ask a teasher for directions.
