get upset when someone asks a question they dont want to asnwer? Cant you just not asnwer it? I mean really, dont you think sometimes people are just asking to find out...

Well, if they do get upset, they must feel like you have crossed a line with regards to how much they know you or how comfortable they feel about sharing information about themselves. This isn't with everyone, somethings just spark more emotions than others, say if a person's brother was struck by lightning and you ask them why they are afraid to go to Circuit City (or something weird like that), they might get pissed. Get the drift?

I guess it all depends on how the question is asked. If it is invadeing the person personally then they have a right to be defensive. Some people may just be in a bad mood too.

totally agree! i get a lot of that with the questions i ask. but at least the people who answe them know that they are JUST FOR FUN!! with the exception of the ones who feel the need to be rude about it. if i don't want to answer a question, i simply ignore it.

yes one can ask but some times a girl or woman dose get up set about that subject if its a sencitive subject such as how they, or them not being able to have their own kids, or if you ask about their mom and dad it could be a problem for them if their parents are devorced or possibly even if they where adopted
