what makes you want to answer a question that starts like that?

Because those are the best questions to try and answer because there are so many different views out there on whether or not there is a God, what role He plays in our lives, etc.

because , like most people, we all have an idea or a concept of what or who our God is and we try to explain the question with our best knowledge regarding the God issue.

The Holy Spirit gives us a mission to educate the ignorant. When people ask questions about God, we feel the need to assist.
Of course, some people feel the need to trash talk anything to do with God. I pray they see the error of their ways before it is too late.

Everybody has a different god (or gods) and a different perception of what their relationship wih him/her. Its educational to learn of other's viewpoints even though it may not change yours.
