There is a piece made for your vehicle you need to call Bumper to Bumper in Brockton MA. 508 580 1998. They have an adapter that will link onto your factory unit. You will need a couple of additional Items. A DVD player to put your movies into and an Fm modulator. That will allow the audio of movie to play through your trucks system. This will not effect the factory On star system and if you have the Bose system it will also not interfere with that.

You can do it if you want to spend way too much. You'll need an aftermarket DVD player, FM Modulator or Peripheral GM Aux. adaptor and a RGB splitter (Pacific Accessory Corporation). Getting to the RGB (Red Green Blue) cable in the factory screen may require some major surgery. Leave it to a very good install shop to do. They'll cover the costs if they break something.
