Rossi's Pisano. A red jug-wine but as good as they come and once the subject of a major battle between the Rossi and Gallo families over who got what during a major falling out that continues. The net result is that the Rossi's figured Pisano by itself was worth the Gallo name, and so the final major properties--Pisano and the Gallo brandname--went their separate ways, and there is no longer Gallo Pisano.

Don't knock a good jug-wine like this until you try it--room temperature, please. Frankly, I think most wine "labels" are just pretensions to something they are not.

A Greek one, believe it or not. I think it was called Nemea and was from 2005. It had only the slightest hint of that special taste that Greek red wines have. It is a good all-arounder, with food or without.

Bloody Period seems to have a great number of antioxidants, so that red wine would be an excellent choice. Is that original enough for ya?
