hmmm just wondering my friend states she has lupus and cant have kids I dont think this is true

Some people with lupus can have children, but it depends on how severe their condition is.

Some people with lupus cannot have children. This might be due to:

Kidney failure
(Life threatening) blood clots
Infertility due to the lupus (and sometimes due to the blood clots)

I think you are right. These diseases should not make her sterile. A good OB doctor could shed more light on this subject. Many of the meds she may be on could make having a baby risky however. She should talk to her pharmacist or physician about this.
