It works both ways. A woman can cheat and break up the marriage. The child custody laws don't allow the judge to consider infidelity as a criterion in deciding custody. So, she can get custody and collect child support no matter what she did.
And the amount of child support is alway greater than the real cost of rearing a child, so the woman always wins -- no matter how she has behaved.

Well Yahoo answers does. Everyone gets 2 points regardless of the relevance of there answer.
MLB does, look at Barry Bonds.
Cycling doesn't want to, but no one really knows if they do, as the Tour de France has been tainted for a decade by false rumors and bad journalism.
But in the relationship view you are approaching, personal values and ethics have generally declined as a whole, and thus, infidelity tends to increase.

I wish I couls say you were wrong, but you're not, and I have had more broken hearts because of exactly what you say, more women not only proving they can get the guy but also not caring who gets hurt in the process. I often feel like a misfit in this world because I still believe in morals, standards, truth, honesty, loyalty, things like that.
It's sad but men have always been considered studs the more women they have, while women were considered tramps, now it's like women are proud to be tramps also.

I think its definitely going to move more and more in that direction. Things are totally out of control. Nobody has any values anymore. Its become a world of get what you can when you can. Women are making their own money and deciding not to take guys sh*t anymore and guys are all upset because women aren't dependent on them anymore. All this cheating has always been going on, now at least people admit it.

sure, and this has to do with present day faith. in specific, christianity. whilst a faith mandates that each and one and all would be forgiven on the mere request of the criminal, it creates a society of scapegoat-ism. integrate that with the want-questioning inherent in prayer, and you get a subculture in keeping with self concentrated ideals, in keeping with entitlement and an entire loss of ethical experience.

Unfortunately all that you've said is true, and our children's generation will hopefully learn from our mistakes. Otherwise the increasing epidemic of broken homes, STD's and unwanted children will spiral out of control in the coming years.
