Whats with all of the people saying "heat/cold/wind/air/etc. exist and you can't see them so saying God doesn't exist because you can't see him doesn't work". Christians claim he exists atheists deny that, therefore it is the Christian who must defend himself.

here's an example...a Fruber exists in my room he's invisible, none of your senses can detect the Fruber. Now are you going to join me in saying said Fruber exists? No, I would be insane. when confronted whith god we must first ask "what is it for which you are claiming existence"? therefore the theist must make an intelligible description of God, until he does so God makes no more sense than my Fruber. Nothing can qualify as evidence unless we know what we are looking for. Even if faith is demanded for us to believe, we still have to know what it is we are to have faith in. Theists have always had problems describing said God & they still disagree. Anyone who wants to attempt a description ok but keep it short.

Since He would be incomprehesable then we suddenly collapse into agnosticism (the belief God is unknowable) so saying he is incomprehensible to us simply makes us agnostic. Not a description in the least.

Wow, I've heard the classic wind thing but heat and cold? Those things they list out to us are completely different from what God supposedly is. With heat/cold/wind/air, you can feel it physically and see its effects. Too much heat will burn you, but a good amount will warm you. Cold can give you frostbite, but a lesser amount will cool you off in the summer. Wind can make your hair blow around, and air keeps you alive. How stupid of them to compare that to their idea of God. Fruber forever!

If God does exist then it is mostly likely that God exists at a level beyond our comprehension.
