If this is a constant occurance then she's an alcoholic, and in denial. If you don't have too much time and effort invested in this person....RUN! This pattern will repeat it's self with other people (unless she hooks up with another alky),and one day she just might get it.
If this person really means something to you....well then you have a long road ahead of you.But her road will be rougher.Just remember that you can't help her if she's not gonna help herself first.

I guess that the main question that I have for you is...why do you want to tell her?
It sounds as if this person gets drunk and then for whatever reason, denies it. And it appears that this bothers you to some degree.
I would have to guess that one of two things is happening here that would prompt you to ask the above question.
The first is that perhaps you just like the idea of being right, the winner of the discussion, the person who knows more and can have a trophy win to show it.
I'm not judging you, as I've been in this place myself, and it's pretty natural for people to want to be right and to want to win, but if this is all that it is, let it go and let the person deny this all they want.
The second reason that you might be asking would have to do with health related concerns. Either you feel that this person is drinking to excess commonly and that this is dangerous for their health or that they are an alcoholic. Possibly they are too drunk to drive and yet they deny their level of inebriation.
If this is the case then you need to intervene. This person needs to not drive if they are drunk, and if they have a drinking problem and no one else is hurt, you can't and shouldn't force them to get assistance. People can't change unless they want to change.
If this person is a mother or has children or others in her care and is getting drunk often, then something should be done to remove her from that care until she is able to remedy the situation.
Good luck.
Love as always,
Sebastian

Announce that you are hungry and that you would like to head for someplace else to get a bite. That way you can steer Miss Tippler away from her well gracefully. Find a place to eat that has low lighting, and she will grow drowsy and wish to get home.
