It depends on what you want to change about your body.I use videos by Rodney Yee he has some great power yoga videos. They really work your body, especially his strength building series- it goes from beginner to advanced. If you want to lose weight try yoga for weight loss for more of a heat building fat burning routine. Rodney has a dvd called yoga burn but I've never tried it before. I have tried pilates but didn't enjoy it as much as yoga. But different people like different things. Find a routine that focuses on what you want to change...strength or weight loss. You can go to a library check out both a yoga and pilates video to see which one you like better to start off. If you like it you'll use it and if you use it consistently you'll see results. Also...diet does affect your results. Some people say it's 70% diet and 30% exercise.
Good Luck!
