Very interesting bout between two outstanding Lgt Heavyweights! Harold Johnson was a gifted technician with tremendous boxing skills. He had good but not great power. Marvin Johnson was a very tough fighter that gave it his all every time out and had very good power. I believe that Harold Johnson was a better boxer than Marvin Johnson and would survivie some anxious moments in the fight and win by unanimous decision.

H. Johnson - W 76 (KO's 32) TF 87 - W pct 87% - KO pct 37% - wins over Moore, B. Satterfield and E. Charles - KO'ed by Walcott and Moore - #80 ranked

H. Johnson is in the boxing HOF that still does not mean he could not lose. This fight could go both ways M. Johnson by a 14 rd KO or H. Johnson by a 15 rd split decision.

P. S. How about the conservatives (wrong wing) hero George Allen. He put his foot in his mouth. I would like to put my foot in his a**. Correct thinking people know that some of today's conservatives (I don't care what party) are yesterday's segregationists.

Harold Johnson was a great fighter, elected to the IBC Hall of fame in 1993, He was the LT heavy champ after Archie Moore gave it up. WE remember his bouts with Moore, and in this one with M Johnson I give it to Harold Johnson in a hard fought bout
