Depends how much you eat. Peanuts are a good source of nutrients, and the fat that they give is of a kind that is easy for the body to break down.

If you're doing enough aerobic exercise it will balance out, as it will if you have a balanced diet elsewhere

Basically, if you do 20mins of proper aerobic exercise, 3 times a week, and eat a healthy diet otherwise, there should be no problem with a bit of peanut butter...

Peanut butter is very fattening (16 gr per serving) use it very sparingly. You can find better protein sources, such as low carb protein bars like "America's Best Protein Bar" called pure protein, it has 190 calories, 6 gr fat, 2 gr sugar, 20 gr protein. There are also whey isolate protein powders for making drinks with, such as "Syntrax" called Fuzzy Nectar, it has 90 calories, 0 fat, 0 sugar, 23gr protein. I use both these products since my "WLS".

Most nut butters are high in calories and intake should be limited if you are worried about fat calories
Good low fat protein sources include: lo fat dairy products
whey or soy protein powders (which make good shakes in skim milk), tuna, fish, chicken and turky, string cheese,
Avoid refined sugar and flour products. Eat more fruits and vegetables and whole grains.

Not if you eat it in moderation. If you can put a teaspoon on a piece of bread a day you'll be fine, it's when we over do it then we get in trouble! It is great protein if eaten in moderation, and get the lower fat kind. Look up "what foods are proteins in" on your search engine and you can find more foods too.

Although peanut butter is high in protein, it's also high in fat.

Peanut butter can be a good choice (when used in moderation) because it keeps your blood sugar even for several hours (so you don't get hungry and shaky).

Don't really know that much, but the general rule is: if you can make it into an oil (olive, peanut, sunflower), then you have a high fat food item.
