My Fiance is trying to get into the ARMY and his recruiter keeps giving him the run around. He took his ASVAB the real one and scored 73 took the Physical and passed. He did that this month and started trying to get in in the early part of May end of April. His recruiter said he needed a waiver and sent in for one in the begining of June he still says he hasnt gotten it all cleared yet even though my Fiance had a meeting with his reruiter's commander. What can we do this will be really good for him. Plus it shows me that he cares about something and wants to succed. I would join however I have back and ankle problems on top of my Asthma. :(.... Any suggestions? For him getting in the Army sooner?

Nothing you can do about it. Waivers can take some time, depending on what it is for, which you did not explain. Medical waivers take longer. Waivers for legal issues are normally quicker, but that depends on the issue and how serious it was. The ASVAB score is irrelevant for the most part.
On a side note, are you sure your finace is telling you the whole story?

Recruiters get points for getting people in. The better the recruit the more points the recruiter will get. I would suggest trying a different recruiter. And make sure you are getting the whole truth from your fiance. He may be getting cold feet and just telling you something else. Or he may just be waiting for a better job to open. Unless all he wants to be is a bullet catcher.

You mentioned a waiver...but not what KIND of waiver...I think this may be the sticking point. Although the military is fairly begging for recruits, they need able-bodied and preferably YOUNG (read: under 25) people. Any reason for the rush...6 months is not unusual to get through their routine enlistment process.

Why did he need the waiver? Was it the ASVAB score?

I find it curious that they wouldn't snatch him up immediately. Maybe there's something going on that you're not aware of; something your boyfriend isn't telling you? How about trying a different branch of service?
