Talk to the family and tell them you love them but that you also love her and can't see why her appearance should matter to them. Marry her anyway and if they can't accept your choice then you may have to accept that it's her or them. If you try to be sensitive to everyone's point of view and if they are fair then maybe with time you'll all get on. Do put her feelings first though, she'll be relying on you to look after her.

I'm sure she's a great person, and you see the beauty she emulates from within. Ultimately, it's your choice who you want to be with for the rest of your life.
I was born with a slight disfigurement that I'm very aware of (people ask me about it all the time) and I was really afraid of not being loved unconditionally because of it.

I think you mean "keloid". it's a reaction to an injury or cut. It appears as a swelling along the line of the cut. In many cases it reduces over time to becoming practically invisible.
It's totally harmless so your father is judging by appearance not by character.

Just don't let it bother you. If you try to find someone that will make your whole family happy then you will never get married. No one is ever good enough for family.

its your life, do what you want, my parents refused to come to my wedding and ive been happily married for 6 yrs now with 4 beautiful children, im glad i didnt listen to what they wanted and followed my heart instead
