For my 16 birthday, I might get a truck, a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500. How much would a truck like this cost, and how much for insurance would I have to pay?

Thanks

Insurance is based on the length you have your license as well as the type of vehicle. Your cheapest bet at 16 is to also put mom or dad on the title and add it to there insurance policy. On your own policy any vehicle is going to cost more for insurance than any 16 year old will want to pay. Happy Birthday!

Well thanks for the two points. The truck costs what the seller will take for it, and insurance has different rates everywhere, so go on line to an insurance company and enter the information and get an answer.
