I read somewhere about a line of thought among psychiatrists that women of the past, being oppressed and abused as a gender, psychologically "got back" at the world, their husbands, families, etc., by suffering from "mental breakdowns" and/or possessions. By acting out breakdowns they were able to curse, be bawdy, express their pent-up anger toward religious and social mores of the day. In most cases this was subconscious on the part of the woman who experienced it. There were also cases noted of devout young women, including a few nuns, who complained of being sexually attacked by an incubus, which the church and public in general found more tolerable than the idea of a woman having sexual fantasies and enjoying masturbation.

95% of prison imates are men. More murders are men.
That is an Islamic teaching that more women go to hell.
It was written by a man. However stastics does't bear that out.
More men commit adultry and more men become homosexuals. and in the prison system, the worst fear is the guards raping the women. Very few if any force sex on another women. While in male prisons this is the normal situation that men are raped by other men. More men ingage in war.
More women 100 to one is killed by a man. rather than the other way around. Some say the estimates are much higher.
More men 1000 to 1 abandone their children to the other spouse to raise alone. More men abuse their wives and children.
More men kill there children. So if anyone is possessed by an evil spirit it would be men. Islamic teachings should look at the facts. Women do not go crazy during thier periods, nor do they become possessed by an evil spirit. In Islamic culture where women are beaten and abused and in multiple wife households.
More die from sucide and murder by their husbands than any other way. Fearing torture by their husbands commit sucide knowing they will go to hell.

Quit with the Voodoo doodoo already!

The facts:

Women are NOT likely to be possessed by any spirits, whether before, during or after mentruation.

That is a belief that has its roots in S.E. Asia but is unfounded. Science does not support that theory.

It all stems from a misunderstanding of natural phenomena, and a demonization of women, which is convenient for men to believe, rather than believing in their own inadequacies.

I pity the poor women in those countries where they are viewed as either crazy or under the influence of an evil spirit.

God made woman whole, complete, and harmonious not susceptible to human myths. Didn't Jesus heal the woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years? He restored her to health, even though she had been under the care of many doctors over those 12 years. This shows that women are not suupposed to be subjected to evil nor illness because they are women. If they were, why did Jesus heal her? If women were under a curse authorized by God, why didn't Jesus just let her suffer?? Because God's woman is not subject to the imbalances and suffering associated with femininity.

Jesus said that Satan was "a liar and the father of it". The idea that women are under the influence of an evil spirit is a lie that is the work of Satan himself. Stop perpetuating and believing in lies.

I may be wrong but I think this person is NOT saying women are evil, but why do more women "get possessed" by spirits. Either for good or for evil.
And I think more women "get possessed" is because for the most part women, as a whole, are more based on faith as opposed to fact. I think women believe more in religion, paranormal activity and and other spiritual things more than men. So it stands to reason more women than than men would fall prey to "possession". Personally I think possession in any form is a crock.

I am seeing a few things here-- one: the person, anxious to ask the question made a few grammatical errors. Take away the errors and there is actually a very interesting question below the rubble. I am going to take out the erroneous part first and then post the good question segment. Here goes: Do women have more bouts of demonic possession than men? It depends on the countries and the practices. In countries with loose unguarded altars--spiritually strengthened through occultism, that is more prevalent in females because the men do manual work and the ladies by village tradition--with time on their hands--are enticed by some village shaman to protect their livestock, to protect their children etc with his potions. The same pattern--Adam went naming animals while Satan went by and saw naked Eve hanging around the yard. So the numbers have more to do with the culture rather than the gender.
As a person involved in deliverance and as a person who knows that spirits feed on semen spilled in disobedience and blood spilled in disobedience--take out the disobedience factor and the menstrual cycle would cause every female who is demon-possessed to get ovarian cancer. However the spirits do not have permission to use the rejected blood--it is not spilled disobediently. I know thousands of preachers that would have been stumped by that question. It is actually an excellent question. It is amazing how God still throws us lifelines. I have seen demon-possed men eating out of garbage cans. They cannot get poisoned. I have seen them sleep in conditions that would make a healthy man get sick. Satan has gone as far as he can with them--that sovering part is God-protected territory. That is why regardless of how bound persons are, we can free them with prayer. The spiritual parental bond.

Don't know that it's an 'evil' spirit, certainly not menses, it's more like a 'kick somebody to the curb' spirit when I hear some as incredibly stupid as your question.
Didn't notice your gender, but if you're a man you need some witchy woman to smack you , right now! If you're a woman, you're ignorant, or some damn fool man, or woman, has brainwashed you. Woman is no more evil than man..so don;t use your pms as an excuse to be a bit*h.

Your statement is not supported by any facts. I do not believe that women are anymore likely to be possessed than men. And I have never heard of any relationship to menstruation.

Do some research.

the evil spirit dwells in fallopian tubes(pink indicates gluttony)of women and extra dark green bile fluid of men(green indicates greed) therefore, both genders have evil spirits and it's a matter of convincing the spirit to flee,so that it can be replaced with a non-evil aka neutral spirit that'll eventually be influenced to be good or back to square one:evil.

Women are not more evil than men, it is the other way around. Explain why prisons are 93% men and only 7% women.
I do not suffer from menstruation, I experience it, nothing more.
