Metal Storm is one, another is the Army's Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) is intended to fill the gap between the current unguided 2.75" Hydra-70 Rocket System and the HELLFIRE anti-tank missile. It is anticipated that APKWS will be comprised of a laser sensor and guidance package coupled with the Hydra-70 rocket.

Some future systems:

another: high-intensity, ultra-short laser pulses and plasmas leads to the emission of coherent, short-pulse radiation at terahertz frequencies. A device is developed that can use the short-pulse radiation at terahertz frequencies to deactivate any electronic systems many miles away and create a virtual shield for any advancing army, navy or air force.

Then there's the bunker buster bombs that are as big as tactical nukes, but without the radiation.

Despite the syntax error in tthe first line of your question, i think i can give an acceptable answer. in the future wars will be assymetric, that is, between groups with modern technology and groups with little or no technology. the idea of "proxy wars" where large nations use small nations people and land to fight instead of doing it directly against each other will be a big thing. the weapons we use will largely unchanged. we will still use guns and bombs, but information will become much more valuable.

This question made me think of this guy I used to work with. He was not crazy most of the time, but he would tell me (not often, just when military weapons would come up) that his brother-in-law in the Air Force swore that aliens did crash at Roswell, and most of our significant military improvements are retrieved from the craft and aliens. And he was dead serious.
Aren't they working on robotic soldiers or something similar?

Fighter jets that go so fast, they need to pilot them from the ground.

An explosive that is the size of a marble and when detonated can knock down a skyscraper.

I think he meant an weapon not in service which is being designed...

The Bradley Fighting Vehicle. It is like a tank, but actually used for "killing" tanks. Troops are using it extensively in Iraq. The vehicle is named after a famous WWII General Omar Bradley.

A laser that can either be put inside a cargo jet or mounted to a helium balloon. It is a very presice killing tool that can fire into a crowded space to eliminate a target. It can also be used to destroy other planes, tanks, etc. It looks awesome.

How about the barbed wire whip vehicle. When it was placed on the D-day shores it whipped up sections of the barbed wire so the troops could get to the beachhead.
