I used to have that problem when I was younger and much shyer than I am now. It was just difficult for me to get up the nerve to start a conversation unless someone spoke to me first. The more I attracted I was to a girl, the more difficult it was, because I got nervous (that should be good news to you). If you want to know what he's thinking, just ask him. If you keep waiting for him to speak first, he'll think you're mad at him.

I used to be pretty shy. But, not as much now. Anyways, back to your question. Well, what did he say at the end of your date? Was he enthusiastic and said something like "I would like to go out again." Or "I had a great time!" If he did not, maybe he is just not interested in you romantically anymore. Probably what you do not want to hear, but there is another option.
The other option is that he likes you, but doesnt know how to approach you at work..or he may feel it is inappropriate to talk to you at work. You did talk to him...and did you ask him out again? Ask him out..if he says no or he is too busy..then you got your answer..he isn't interested...if he says yes..then he was probably just shy. Good luck.

DON"T ASK IF HE"S MAD!!! Guys don't hold grudges and get in emotional fits like girls. :-) Just tell him how you feel, etc.
Maybe he needs a little pressure to force him to make a move. If he thinks you aren't going to stick around much longer, he might get the courage to ask you out.
If you wait too long, he may not do anything. But if you're ok with that, go ahead. It sounds like you're not. Maybe you need to consider whether you really wanna be with him. If he leaves you in the dark a lot during your relationship and that upsets you, it could be a very frustrating and maybe not worth it.

There may be a no dating at work policy or he may be still in the unfamiliar stage a few more conversations should take place and just calm down. All things come in due time.

the problem with shy guys is that they become even shyer as there with someone they like. To top it off shy guys have a lot of retraint with approching someone they like, and the biggest fault is that they 'feel' especially at work that they maybe bothering someone, especially the girl they like. the best thing to snap him out of it is to talk about it, and let him know that you'd like it if he'd talk more.

Just be patient w/ him. I'm really shy 2 and I know how he feels. The more time u spend w/ him and the more u get 2 know each other, the more relaxed he will be around u. Good luck.

what u have to do is go bak to him and speak to him properly. like are u so quite cuz ur shy or mayb ur just not intrested in datin me ?? try to find out whats goin on with him and how he feels towards u. dont just ask a simple question that just leads u nowhere. if u think he aint intrested in u than let it go...
goodluck :)

hey that sounds like me :) where do you work?
Here is what i can tell. from my experience, the guy may have something for you, he just doesn't know how to make the step, because he is to afraid of rejection. try talking to him more often.
This way he will fill more comfortable with you, and maybe he will "open" up. Good luck.

Maybe if you acted like it doesnt bother you he would stop. Just act like everthings cool until he opens up more. The more you're around eachother the more he'll open up.
