I hear that a lot, that they are purpously breaking our laws, that they have no respect for them and they don't follow them. Well if that's the argument, then more than half the population should be in prison or deported. If you speed, you just broke the law, obviously you don't respect the speed limit laws. If you get stopped and try to lie your way out of a ticket, you are purpously trying to break the law and have no respect for authority or the laws. If you cheat on your taxes to get a higher return you sure as hell are breaking the law and have no respect for the laws of the land. If you take something that doesn't belong to you, even if it's a pencil from a desk, you are breaking the law and have no respect for the laws.

i agree 100%,,... bunch of hypocrites think they're saints... most Americans are criminals because they break the law....
speeding is a crime because the outcomes can be more dangerous than a family trying to flee from poverty..
a crime is a crime....

It does far more good for a person to try to resolve problems in their homelands by staying there, than crossing over a border into a country where they know they aren't wanted. It is also better, if people from foreign lands who feel they really do want to live in America, to at least go through INS and not insult the laws of the country or the people who are working hard to come here legally. It's been shown that thestory of Mexico being"poor" is a myth...there are alot of people making money right now in Mexico. It's the unskilled, and the criminals, for the most part, that are leaving, because they know they have no real hope in Mexico, and just want to try and make it harder for the "unskilled" in America already to gain a place in life.

Of course, they are purposely breaking the law! They know they are criminals, that's why they hideout in this country! They KNOWINGLY break the law when they purposley use stolen i.d. numbers too! This is a felony.
Your argument is absurd! There are different punishments for breaking different laws! It goes by the severity of the crime. At present, i believe entering the country illegally, is a misdemeaner. BUT, using a stolen social security number,is a felony, which has a more severe punishment for this crime!
And, WHEN HR4437 passes, illegally entering this country will be upgraded to a FELONY!

Wow, you must be an illegal Mexican immigrant. The problem is that illegal immigrants seem to have more rights than tax paying Americans. That is my beef. If you are an a tax paying American citizen who abuses the law, that is one thing. But for you not to be a tax paying, loyal citizen to my country, and you are abusing our policies and our laws, I have a huge problem with that. I am Mexican. My father, a long time ago came to the US illegally. Yet, unlike most illegal immigrants, my father adapted to the American culture. He pays taxes, he works hard, and he taught his kids how to prosper in this country. Not to sell drugs or participate in gangs, but to use our minds, go to college, and be a representative for all other Americans of Mexican descent. If you don't want to abide by American laws, then I ant nothing to do with you. get out of country.

Although I agree I can even add more go to www.stupidlaws.com pull up your state I*'ll bet you break most of those even though they are on the books. Drink and drive talk on a cellphone and drive(not against the law here but in some states) .......... But the anti-people are going to justify it. I had one say I run the red light down the street when no one else is there. But that's justified??????? I guess if you don't get caught and are here legally it's ok.

I agree, and with those infractions should go a punishment that fits the crime. Speeding should get you a ticket. (traffic law) stealing a pencil, (misdemeanor) an apology to the person that suffered the loss of the pencil, Criminal trespass and unlawful entry into a sovereign nation (felony) DEPORTATION. get it?

THere's a big difference between a traffic violation and stealing someone's identity or declaring war on someone's country because it is difficult to immigrate here.
