He shows me the sunshine everyday. He allows me use of all my fingers, toes, let's me breathe, gives me insights, shows me the way to make the right choices. Blesses me with an absolutely splendid life. Grants me the ability to appreciate sharing answers as to how we get along & how He must really love me! ;)

dman, no one takes this question seriously

jackasses

well, anyways, i am a Christian, and I'll take this seriously

the truth is, personally, sometimes i feel weak in my faith. but now that i think of it God speaks to you in so many different ways

Some people can actually hear a voice that isnt theres.

Some hear him through others, directly or indirectly

but now that i think of it, God speaks to me and its just that i dont listen

sometimes i can feel his will in life. Like, as the day progresses, the events of that day seem to be made by God, as if he is writing out a message on a jigsaw puzzle.

sometimes its almost all in my head. Like he'll talk to me, but he doesnt just speak directly to me like sayin "wassup." He'll use my thoughts to spell out a different thought. or it will be like a What Would Jesus Do? Message

But i guess the best answer would be that He can always be heard in the Holy Word (The Bible)

This is a hard subject. One's beliefs and personal relationship with God cannot be simply expained like 2+2=4

Stay open to the Word, the Love, and the Fruit in all its forms

Through the actions of others. A good feeling at a time of doubt. In scripture. Realizations I have after speaking with those I love about something that has been troubling me.

The strongest: A burning feeling in my chest when I realized he IS the ultimate authority and I am nothing in comparison. Though indeed God is love.

I hear God through other people mostly. I had been praying & praying about a major hurt in my life and I was truly confused by what God wanted me to do. He came to me by a sermon my Pastor gave, the same sermon I heard on the radio that day, and the next day a sermon by someone else. All the same thing...He was talking to me!

I receive revelation from the Holy Ghost. When I pray in faith, sincerity and humility to know something, I can feel the promptings of the Spirit in my mind and in my heart telling me what the correct course of action is. If you will ask God in the name of Christ with a sincere heart, having faith in Christ, then he will make the truth manifest to you by the Power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost you may know the truth of all things.
As James said, if any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not. In other words, He won't chastise you for asking. He will lead you to the answer you need if you ask sincerely in faith, believing that you will receive an answer.

Through His Word, The Bible, by way of His Holy Spirit.
Through gospel songs.
Through gospel preachers and teachers.
Through everyday people.
Through His Creation.

Can't people of other religions speak to God?

Through the Scriptures when they are read or you read them yourself.
Through the teaching office of the Church He has established.
Through graces and interior lights when you pray and also listen with your heart.
Through events in day to day life, if you are paying attention.
Certainly in other ways too.

God bless you.
