Maybe they should draft you so you can actually understand what the military is REALLY about. It's people like you that make me sick. These people are fighting for our rights, our freedom and security. Go back to your little home and enjoy your pizza and burgers and don't give a second thought as to why we are where we are today. Many have sacrificed their lives to give us a free and democratic society. Get out of this country and move to France, you ingrate!

obviously you know nothing about the military....there are over 1.4 million active duty military personnel, only 130, 000 are in iraq by the way and the truth of the matter is that only a fraction of that are in combat positions and those are not 'hunt down and kill' positions they are 'defend and protect positions', other positions are mechanics, nurses, doctors, emt's (you know they SAVE lives don't you), dietitians, computer experts, secretaries, business majors, child care providers and teachers, civil engineers and dentists to name just a few of the jobs that military personnel have. so when you decide to lump all together into one biased view and accuse them of being killers get your facts straight first cause its people like you who don't know what they are talking about and only regurgitate up what they hear other uninformed people spew that causes alot of problems in this world. your bias and bigotry are harmful to everyone. think of this, if our military was really there just to hunt down and kill people there sure wouldn't be the bin laden, hussein and other idiots out there cause we'd of sent someone to take them out a long time ago...

Good point.

Probably not. But then what would we do with all the nutcases who find wars a release for their frustrations?

Fact Checker..... Check your facts next time Canada is fighting in Afghanistan. They had to take over after the US screwed it all up over there.

it is obvious that you would not qualify so don't worry the draft isn't coming back and perhaps you would be happier in say Canada MILLSY they are fighting there because they are an ally they have an excellent military ( small ) but they are the most liberal english speaking major power on Earth so he would be happier there

"Do we want to trust people who want to run around killing other people?"

They're doing that now. It's called "early release".

You've led a sheltered life, haven't you?

Unfortunately, there are loads out there who would like to harm us!

I for one would rather send a load of psychopaths arter them (if necessary) than a load of hairdressers.

No disrespect to any military, or hairdressers reading.

honest

Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do? This is still a free America. You must be a liberal, you tout freedom only in your case.
