I started to eat a piece of lunch meat, but it tasted nasty. I spit it out and rinsed my mouth of the taste with water. But I tend to be paranoid about food poisoning... what are the chances of me getting sick even though I didn't really eat any of the turkey?

LOL. Im the same way. I read the expiration labels om everything! Youre okay.As long as you didnt swallow it. And even if you did, theres not that many diseases in old lunch meat. The absolute worse thing you can do is feel sick.

Since you didn't swallow any of it and you rinsed out your mouth immediately I would not worry about that. It has happened to me on occasion and I did the same thing without any ill effects.

I think u will be ok I have had food poisoning I am very sensitive it really sucks!
I lost 4lbs in 24 hours

Seriously- you'll be fine. Drink a few glasses of water if you're that freaked out- it will dilute any bacteria you might possibly have swallowed. Cheers.
