joe, the baby does not provide for the mother, are you suggesting that the mother is living off of the WIC milk?? Assuming that she is getting any welfare at all! and in fact the baby cannot even help the mother get papers until it is 18 years old.

Zoe, you continue to mis-quote. I never said Mexico is almighty and we owe them everything. I do think the situation in Iraq is bad as well, when I talk about illegal immigration, why is it that YOU assume that I am talking only about Mexico?? I mean all illegal immigrants that come here for the purpose of making a better life for them and their families! I do have ties with Mexico, because my husband is from there, but It does not mean that there are no bad or crazy people there. If we have so many crazies here, and we are not near their size, they are bound to have some there as well.

Mendi8a what planet are you on ? Are you drunk on amnesty juice? The bigger question is "anchor baby" laws are so abused primarily by people from Mexico who have the kid then collect all the social benefits designed for the people of America ,there's not going to be anything left for anybody in the very near future. I never seen a person like you live in such denial that you will not fully process everything it seems if anyone is from Mexico you feel it's o.k. to use fake documents , is o.k. to make up social security numbers it's o.k. to steal someones id as long as they are from Mexico give them full amnesty regardless of what they done, it's about a better life, the choices made to obtain that better life seem o.k. with you. I fail to understand why you think Mexico conditions are far worse then Iraq where 100 Iraq citizens are dying a day and the country is at war.You continue to proclaim Mexico is the neediest country on earth and all these other countries are an illusion. You want to pick and select which laws to yell foul at. Why you think there should not be a Mexico border at all and that America must adept and everything must evolve around Mexico, for Mexico anything less is racist according to your point of view. I just never seen anyone declare all of Mexico pure and that no one breaks any laws all people of Mexico are innocent of any charges against them. Sorry but the dream is over it's wake up time

If they come here for the purpose of having an "anchor baby" they should all be sent back. I mean if you were on vacation in Ireland and suddenly went into labor and gave birth does that make you an Irish citizen?

I say we just annex 1 or 2 rooms in all hopitals as belonging to Mexico. That way they can just have the babies there and technically they are on Mexican soil.

What respectable mother would use their child as a meal ticket? Shouldn't the mother be providing for the baby? Instead the baby is the one providing for the mother. Is a woman that would do this capable of caring for a child, or responsible enough to show respect? These women are using un- suspecting children to manipulate laws. I find this action repulsive, and void of any dignified support.

all people use whatever laws suit there needs. Most anti-illegals say they are not racist but they just want the immigrants to respect our laws and in the same breath want to take citizenship which is in the constitution away from people who were born in the usa and who's parent are undocumented

We don't like people abusing the law. And some are abusing the anchor baby law.

We don't like the way the law is, to many people take advantage of it . So we want to change it ... we talk about it amongst our selves, take in information and contact our governors and senators ... whats wrong with that

Accepting and respecting the law is one thing.

Having the desire to change it is something completely different.
