I suggest you go to www.playgolfamerica.com, look for a program called Link Up 2 Golf. The cost should be around $100.00 it will cover 6 to 8 hours golf instruction and 2 or 3 trips on the golf course.

most important idea in chipping is to swing the clubhead at a descending angle, with the clubhead behind the hands.

chipping is attacking the pin from the ground - depending on how far away from the green you are, you would usually use an 6 iron (20% air, 80% roll), a 8 iron (33% air, 67% roll), or a pitching wedge (50% air, 50% roll). It's always a safer shot to let the ball roll longer, the wedge shot is the one were people get in trouble (shanks, skulls, chunks, flubs) PRACTICE

I like to used the bump and run i have a 7 or 8 iron keep head down and and slowly go back about 3 feet and chip it It will take time have the ball in the middle of your stance make sure you follow through my wife like to stop and she dub it on your putting i train My student to put tees two feet from the hole than 4,6,8,10 keep doing it over and over,it take practice good luck
