i am also starting middle school (6th grade) and i heard that meeting new people and making new friends is the best part.and since you have 6 classes, you have a lot more people to meet and get to know. you'll also learn how to be much more responsible.
well...good luck in ni river.

Sad to say, I hear there ain't much studying going on in school nowadays, so, maybe you're in luck. And then I hope you're not in luck, because studying is what school originally was there for. I didn't like it either, way back when, in the Dark Ages, when I was in "middle school", long before they called it "middle school", but my dad made sure I did it anyway, or dread all the hours I sat at my desk trying to pretend I was, and hating it. But now, after all my college and all my degrees, I'm sure glad he did make me sit at my desk and study, or pretend to at times. I'm much better in the world for my dad, who wasn't worried as much about whether I liked him or not as he was interested in whether I would grow up and be able to take care of myself and a family as an adult. God Bless my dad, who, last March 1, 2005, died after a long and relatively healthy life. He taught me immensely, and he keeps on teaching me, long after his death. Don't worry. You'll understand how that can happen as you grow older. Study, honey, as much as you hate it. You'll hate it a million times more in your adult life if you don't study. Trust me on this one. God Bless you.

Best thing is your starting a another new challenge to overcome. Meeting/making new friends learning more subjects to prepare for HS. Its all helping you in ways to adapt to new surroundings which will really pay off later.

The best part is the last day of eighth grade when you never have to go back.
