I decided to stop by a Church's Fried Chicken one night at around 10 pm, and I ordered only ONE drumstick and the guy said that I would have to wait thirty minutes. Out of impatience and hunger I respectfully and calmly yelled to the guy: "THIRTY MINUTES! ARE YOU STUPID!" The guy replied: What the f***!
Since I was in the drive-thru I just escaped from line and sped away.
Now, it's a chicken restaurant! They should always have chicken ready. It's like going to a burger place and not having any burgers available or like going to a gas station and there's no gas!
I could understand if I went to an auto shop or a Home Depot or even the DMV telling me to wait 30 minutes for some fried chicken; but at a place that sells chicken to not have chicken is messed up.

So who's fault do you think it was?
-His for not having good customer service
-Me for being impatient.

I would have asked the guy if he had to choke the chicken first (that's a double entendre, in case you were wondering).

You should never have to wait 30 minutes at the drive-through.

It sounds to me that you were more at fault than the guy at the drive thru. I understand being hungry and all(I've been there!), but I was never disrespectul like that. Sometimes, there can be a problem(they probably had to fix a fresh batch of chicken, who knows?)with some of these fast food restaraunts. It can get busy and they do sell out of food and have to cooks some more stuff. Would you have wanted chicken that's been setting out so long that if you were to hit someone with that chicken leg, you'd been arrested for assault? Or would you rather have fresh chicken? Learn from this experience and remember not t to be so hasty. Besides, there's always other restaraunts. It was an unfortunate situation that happened, but honey, you were wrong on this one.

He he...I had a similar experience once...I went to Kentucky Fried Chicken and asked for a two piece chicken. The clerk said, 'Sorry, we're out of chicken, would you like anything else?' I just laughed and walked away. It was both funny and ridiculous.

He he...I think it was natural for you to be surprised and impatient...but you could probably have handled the situation a bit better. Just because the guy works there earning minimum wage doesn't mean it
is his fault that there's a thirty minute wait...so it's rude to assume he's stupid and to tell him he's stupid. Maybe the chicken truck broke down somewhere just outside of Chickenville.

Well, it was his fault because you can't have someone wait at a drive-through for half an hour for such a small meal, especially since there were probably more hungry people lining up behind you that would've been really pissed to be kept waiting. Also, no employee, especially not a waiter, is supposed to swear at his customer. That's the rudest and worst form of customer service is. It is his fault, but try not to yell next time and calmly wait for his/her explanation. If its not a reasonable one, shout your lungs out. But I would definitely say that this is mostly the guy @ the drive-thru's fault.

You do not have the right to badger people when they do not live up to your expectations!

Maybe a football team had just been there and eaten all the inventory causing the delay. But you didn't even think that far ahead, you went ahead and dished out verbal punishment to a stranger who is just doing his job.

You are at fault, not the employee, you had the power to drive away, saying, "Sorry, too long for me." or a variant therein. Instead you took the COWARDs way and yelled into a speaker insulting someone you thought less of, then instead of accepting the inevitable confrontation YOU started, YOU RAN AWAY....

People who act the way you did in this situation are the reason why American's are considered rude and uncultured. Your refusal to take the high road for the petty thrill of belittling someone is indicative of your intelligence.

They should've had some chicken ready!! I can't see a good reason for you to wait 30 minutes.

However, not a good reason to curse the poor guy out. If he's working the drive-thru window he could not be frying chicken. So the bad customer service was the manager's fault, not the poor guy at the window.

Go back apologize to the guy at the window. See the manager about the "CHICKEN" fiasco and ask for some type of compensation for your time.

Good Luck!

i take advantage of the 20% rule and regulate it for shipping expenditures and fix. as an get at the same time, if the food fee is $30, 15% is $6.00. If there's a $3.00 shipping cost, I subtract that from the end quantity, and base the end on $3.00 If the shipping is instantaneous and the shipping individual is professional, i visit around the end up, or perhaps possibly toss in yet another greenback. If the shipping is sluggish, or the shipping individual has an options-set, then i visit round down. each now and then the shipping cost is all they get. I do not ignore that food shipping human beings make maximum of their funds in assistance. in the adventure that they do a good pastime, they receives a tip from me. in the adventure that they do no longer, they gained't. A tip isn't a suitable, it ought to be earned

Initially the worker at Churches Fried Chicken is at fault. However your rudeness: "THIRTY MINUTES! ARE YOU STUPID!"; was wrong in itself. Yes they should have prepared in advance chicken so that customers wouldn't have to wait 30 minutes. Perhaps it was a management's decision and the guy at window had to comply and take the brunt from annoyed customers.

definately your fault lady, what if they had just put in a new batch cause there was a huge order 50 miliseconds before you pulled up. Ofcourse you're going to have to wait for some nasty Church's Chicken, Come on wasn't KFC just down the street or better yet some Popeye's. Popeye's chicken is the shiznat.
PLUS how do you respectfully yell to some one they're stupid

If they didn't have any drumsticks ready, and the guy told you how long it would take when you ordered, you should have left
or waited.

Yelling at him isn't respectful or calm. It's stupid. The guy is
just an employee and he told you how long it would take.

It's *really* stupid of you if you intend to go back to the place,
because if he recognizes you he might give you something
gross as an extra on your chicken. That happens a lot in these situations.
