Just asking, sometimes the simplest questions can open up the gateway to other peoples trains of thoughts, their minds their hearts, their indoctrinations into what words mean, maybe a venture and a peek at their soul.
Consider this, a "thought expiriment"; because obviously we know this happens in the real world every day.
Let's give these two people hypothetical identities. One is a man, the other is a woman. The man is 34, the woman is 30. Both do not believe in God.
So, in that hypothetical situation, what happens when they fall in love?

I assume they start seeing each other more frequently.

It will never work. The woman is more mature at 30, than the man at 34. Strike 1
Without God they can't be in love, because they do not know what love is. Strike 2
Hypothetical or not, God created man and woman! If they don't believe that, then they don't believe in God, therefore their marriage will end in divorce! Strike 3 and your out...

When they fall in love they are just like everybody else, they think of each other all the time, they are together and they enjoy each other. There is only the two of them, they don't need God!

Then two people who don't believe in god are in love. Whats the big deal? One has to believe to what, save the other one? Gimme a break.

They JUST FALL IN LOVE. You said it yourself. And they still don't believe in God.

What do you mean: hypothetical? As you mention already: it happens all the time! So what's the question?
If your hypothetical couple are non-believers, it is not even relevant you state that these hypothetical people are non-believers. It is like asking a bird: if you didn't know about ornithologists, what would your life be like? The bird does not care whether there are ornithologists or not. It's not relevant to the bird.

-What IS "Love"- if it isn't "Answered" ?? A Reality ?- Or a figment of Someones over-active Imagination... .. . ?? When You have 2 People working towards Something, it TAKEs 2 for Them to agree to achieve the SAME Result or Destination... So maybe "True Love" really SHOULD be a measure enjoined by Two people... Otherwise, it just becomes a Destination- for One.

I don't believe deity worship has anything to do with the feeling they would feel. Can you still hurt without deities? Yes. Can you still be sad without deities? Yes. Can you laugh without deities? Yes. I certainly think one can fall in love without them.
The only difference being is they won't thank a deity for their being together.

That is an off the wall question. The man and the woman are responding to biological attraction and then to personality compatibility. Human behavior is such that we fall in love with those things and people that we care about. Whatever we dedicate ourselves to or whereever we place our efforts, we tend to care about those things and can be said to love them.
In truth, to really fall in love to the extent that you are willing to sacrifice yourself and your resources to that other being, requires an inner commitment that belies the atheists thoughts. True love requires a spiritual connection and commitment and should be a testimony to the nonbelieving couple that there is indeed something more to life than just human attraction.

What happens when two athiests/agnostics fall in love? Well, I guess that would depend upon the two people. They may say "I love you," they may get married, they may have sex, the possibilities are endless. Why ask a question that has an infinite number of answers?

I'd like to see what murph_ltt would say to the Athiest couples I know who've been married for 50+ years.
Love is love. You don't need to be a believer to feel it.
