If the file has text in it, simply HIGHLIGHT it, and use COPY and PASTE into Microsoft Word.

There are some utility programs that can unravel this, but the original file that MADE the PDF file was probably WORD, or compatible word processor.

Hi siGns,

It depends upon the security settings of the PDF file you are trying to copy and paste. In Adobe Reader, open the PDF document and press CTRL+A to selects all the text and then right click over the selected text to see whether the option "Copy to Clipboard" exists. If this option exists then chances are that you can copy and paste.

To select parts of the document, click on the "Select" option and use your mouse to select parts of the text to be copied either by right-clicking and choosing the option "Copy to Clipboard" or press "CTRL+C".

Assuming that you are using Adobe Reader, you can read the user help at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdfs/acrruserguide.pdf for more details.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Yes, it's easy. With the PDF document open in Acrobat 7 Standard or Professional, choose File > Save As. In the Save As dialog box, choose Microsoft Word Document from the Format (Mac) or Type (Windows) pop-up menu. Then simply click the Save button, and open the document in Word for editing.

It depends if it is protected by the creator. You can protect PDF documents against copying/printing when you make them. If it is not protected, you should be able to select the whole page then copy and paste it into word.
