Note to everyone reading this im not a "tree hugger" or even a vegetarian, but i do think its morally right to give these animals the best kind of life possible until the day they are slaughtered for our sustenance. I eat and enjoy eating meat, (and fish bag lady) but i do take exception to cruelty in any form. Its natural for us as humans to eat meat its sadistic to keep them lame, in pain and kick them like f*cking rag dolls all over the place though, Theres no need in this day and age!

Eventually people become more aware of how their food is prepared. It might taste good, but its not healthy..
Yes, this is very cruel. Additionally, these, and other animals, are filled with vaccines, which are poisonous to the human, filled with hormones to make them grow at a ridiculous speed, they never see the light of day, and are generally very sick when killed. Eating this kind of meat is simply asking for cancer of the bowel, or some similar disease.
If people were properly informed by knowledgeable nutritionists, instead of being informed by someone trying to make a profit, then these kind of places would be closed down, the obesity problem would be mainly solved, the diabetes pandemic would reduce, and every person would be happier and healthier.
When young, health never seems so important, but good habits developed early in life certainly pay dividends later on.
I would never eat in any fast food restaurant. I know too much about them!!

These videos are ususally the 'worst case scenarios' of animal cruelty - it's a horrible horrible thing. I tried to go vegetarian and stand up for animal rights after seeing a PETA video, but for every one vegetarian out there there are 500 meat eaters and the poor animals will be killed regardless if you eat meat or not. I also got pretty sick from not getting all the vitamins and such from not eating the meat. I try to eat meat only 3 times a week now. It is horribly cruel, but you can make yourself sick watching all of those PETA videos - they are usually the worst case scenarios to get reactions like this from people. I do believe there have been a lot of crack downs on how animals raised to be eaten are raised.

This is extremely cruel and if KFC can not let their chickens roam free in an open area, or breed them in a healthy environment, they should not be allowed to open their chain of restaurants. I don't think countries abroad have gone to such an extreme level of insensitivity. Having seen the video. I wonder why health authorities allow the chicken to even be cooked after all this. It seems an extremely unhealthy environment and cruel environment. Makes you wonder why authorities exist if this is allowed to continue.
Sure glad I don't buy from KFC, I cook all my own food. Just as well too.

Thank you for sharing that with us.
Next time you walk through your grocery store, and the meat department.. remember this short video. ALL the animals there have suffered horribly.. Sometimes, it's just better to go out of your way and buy directly from the farmer who raises the animal.. that way, you get to see into it's eyes before you fill your belly with it.
Horrible thought.. definitely. But what you don't see, is even worse..
Yes, I do eat meat. I have also killed the ones I have raised.
Sadly..

Yes, I would still eat at KFC or any chicken restaurant. A dead chicken is still a dead chicken. I wonder if it would make a difference if an animal is treated humanely before it is slaughtered. The same situation happens in all of the animal slaughterhouses.

OK first of all, this is a food item, the contractors are NOT KFC. Pam and her nuts at PETA get on these bandwagons and try to cram their way of thinking into our minds. Since I make my own judgement, Pamela and her nuts can go to to the circus....These same Bozo's came out with a statement that Beer is better for you than Milk....Gee Pam should understand that one alright. I am a member of PETA PEOPLE EATING TATSY ANIMALS...

thats sad..people like that deserve to treated just the same as they treat the animals...and animal cruelty laws are not up to par...people view animals as part of the family and if a person is abused they get harsher punishment but when its an animal and a tap on the wrist...

"remarkable animals with distinct personalities, social orders, systems of communication, and intelligence"
Are you kidding me? They're chickens for goodness sake! Have you ever been around chickens in your life? Chickens do not have personalities and almost zero intelligence. That doesn't justify poor treatment but it's not worth people dedicating their lives to it. Why don't people that waste time hugging trees and saving animals spend more time feeding the hungry and helping the poor?

it's good that you're spreading the word. i won't eat there again. unfortunately, we have to stop eating chicken just about anywhere. and not just chicken, there are farms that are cruel to cows, pigs, etc. it's inhumane and hopefully those bastards one day will be punished for it. it's sad but there are a lot of ignorant people in this world.
