2 Questions I always ask my customers: #1, Do you sleep warm, because the density of the foam is quite high and the foam itself reacts to heat, you probably looking to sleep about 4-7 degree warmer. #2, does you back feels better with pressure or without. Memory foam mattresses are "pressure free" sleeping system, so therefore, = not much support. (you get support from counter pressure) If you do decide to get it, please ask about comfort guarantees, so if you don't like it you can exchange it for something else. Lastly... you can really save 30-50 % by going with another brand other than tempur-pedic as long as the density & the amount of memory foam in the mattress is comparable. (i.e. comfortpedic, glideaway, sealy, ect.)

I LOVE my tempur-pedic, I have 2. I had a regular king sized one and I then purchased the individual ones that adjust your head and feet. They really are heat activated, meaning your body heat kind of molds to the mattress. I also have the pillows and I take them everywhere as they can roll up very easily they are wonderful! I would highly recommend this mattress. I received my mattress in the winter, when it arrived it was as hard as a brick, as soon as it was room temperature it was soft. If you leave your pillows in the car when it is cold they will get very hard, but warm up as soon as they are indoors. I gave my king size mattress to my son and he loves it also. All my family loves to take a nap on Moms bed. Hope this helps!

A chiropractor friend of mine hated his tempurpedic because the mattress is a foam material and holds heat very well. He is a warm sleeper and the bed was simply too warm for him. Might be good if you are an especially cold sleeper.

BTW, he now has a "sleep number bed" and loves it.

I hated the one I got and got rid of it after ten days.
I would lay down, it would feel great, but then after an hour or so, I'd want to roll over or reposition, and that damned mattress wouldn't let me, I litterally couldn't get out of the depression it molded. And that depression stays that way for 30 minutes once you get up and out of it. Couldn't pay me to buy another one.
