He was able to distinguish each and every individual species, and select one fertile female and potent male from each one. That's one hell of an accomplishment. He should have kept records, it would save us decades of work trying to classify all those species again today.

Not to mention that boat he built, which would have had to be bigger than the entire country to hold all those animals in their individual, climate controled pens, plus all their specialized food and the several thousand tons of animal dung...

God directed the animals to Noah, it was by God's choice which animals were on the ark, just as God gave instincts to animals to migrate from place to place God put it into the animals to go to Noah. You non believers never cease to amaze me with your lack of understanding. God was in charge, there were only two of every KIND of animal, two dogs not 2 Collies, 2 German Shepards, etc., same for all kinds of animals. Just as an animals digestive system slows down during hibernation, so to, God may have controled all the animals in this fashion. The flood was global, for God has a circle of water surrounding the earth that He used to deluge the earth with as well as the waters of the deep, underground waters. The earth was flatter at the time of the flood, God raised up mountains and created deep water basins to drain the waters off the productive land, all the water from the flood is still with us today.

In Christian tradition, it could be argued that the Prophet Noah is the greatest biologist of all time. Nevertheless, we really don't have nothing to verify the claim except The Bible. Thus, we consider Charles Darwin (an atheist) to be the greatest biologist of all time as his theories rocked the foundation of the Christian church.

Read the story again....there were only specified animals brought on board the ark....also, it's commonly believed among most Christian circles that that flood was regional and not global.

There are a myriad of flood stories from cultures around the world. If you bothered to crack a book once in a while, you might know that.
