Germany gave up. The situation was surprisingly similar but on a larger scale.

Mark, I don't think you understand the type of devastation I'm talking about. This last thing wasn't really warlike. If they had actually sent a 110k or so troops in there and destroyed half of Beirut, that would be like what I'm talking about.

If Israel destroyes anything in Lebanon "it already destroted the infrastructure" this means they are terrorists!

"To attack civilian targets in order to achieve political or religious goals" Isn't this the definition for terrorism?

Hezbullah caused Israel to withdraw form Lebanon and it's the only power which causes a threat to Israel in Lebanon, why do you think the Lebanese will want to get rid of it? To give Lebanon to Israel as a gift?

The Lebanese are not fool!

Too dangerous a question !

Such an ambition of Israel may trigger another WORLD WAR !

We understand Israel's concern about terrorism it has been facing since its inception !

India is also facing similar situations from terroristic outfits in Pakistan !

But then Lebenon is another legitimate country and it has innocent people living there !

let us not ask such ruthless questions !

Certainly Israel has the ability to destroy all of Lebanon but that is not their goal. if the UN resolution had teeth, that would've been the best outcome both for Israel and for Lebanon.

You would think so, but Hezbollah is so heavily entrenched in Lebanon, the only likely way to get rid of them, is with door to door type of eradication.
