I am a natural redhead and want to try to die my hair any tips on colors that look good over the red?

highlights look good in red hair...try this, it's not as bad as an all over color. you don't have to re-touch it as often (so it looks better in the growing stage).

From a fellow Redhead I would suggest going in the brown family.

Red is hard to lift and going blonde isn't going to be easy.

My I suggest instead of dying it adding is just changing up a little
You could ask them to put some deeper red highlights or brown highlights to add some color

Stary in the brown family if you want to cover if you go to much lighter like a blonde it will be brassy and may turn orange

You may want to go to sally's rather than out of a box cause those swatches never trun out the color on the box FYI :)

Freckles look so lovable on pink heads or strawberry-blondes. in case you determine to coloration your hair pink be sure you decide on on a colour which you think of seems sturdy with your eye coloration/epidermis tone. considering which you do no longer choose to pass blonde you may desire to do a richer coloration of brown, or in basic terms pass with a coloration lighter or darker with some highlights. desire i helped!

Dirty blonde or like a dark brown would look cute but not black. No offense but i heard most red heads are pale so you don't want to look like a ghost.

why would you want to die red hair? Leave it. Why waste money, and damage your hair(the more you die the more damage it does to your hair). Just be natrual

if i had red hair i wouldn't dye it. but if you want to go darker, maybe a dark brunette. it will probably still look kind of auburn, but it won't be RED.
