you cannot lighten color with color...more so with black. no way to do this without bleach, and you have to do that carefully. i would suggest a stylist, they can do this better. you could always do your own color after this if u want!

Oh no. Unfortunately, black is there to stay. If you don't want to bleach, start dying your hair (wait three weeks) lighter shades, beginning with dark brown, brown, light brown, etc.

I'd definitely get some pro help, however. You don't want it to fall out. Good luck!

you could go to a professional hair salon and get it "stripped" but that is really bad for your hair with the chemicals and all... you could always re-dye it but it's hard to do with black so it'd be safer to let your hair grow out and cut off the black. if this is what you choose to do, highlight your growing-in hair black so it doesn't look as bad adn it gradually goes back to your own color.

good luck! and just remember this as a lesson next time...

stripping
but that does just as much damage
as bleaching...if not more...

you might just have to let it grow out

but this is what im doing now..
i got this stuff by sheerblonde
you put it in your hair
and it highlights it and makes it lighter
i put it in my hair , then go out in the sun
outside and tan or whatever and let my hair lighten
then i am going to die it brown
but you would with whatever color you want
or closest to your hair color

"Iced Coffee" Color Pulse dye. It's temporary, but stains your hair a little. Iced Coffee is light brown... your hair will gradually get lighter.

that was a really bad idea. Go to a Salon to fix it. If you try it at home I don't think you will have good results

You can't fix this yourself, even Nick Arrojo didn't try to fix this problem himself. He took the woman to a color specialist.

Use a color stripper and strip the color off of it. Then pick another color to put on to your hair. I am a Cosmetologist :-)
