Get a bowl full of boiling water.
Cut the skin of each tomato with asharp knife all the way round.
Put the tomatos in the bowl and after a short time the skins will lift around the cut.
You can then take out the tomatos (carefully) and just peel them with your hands.

soak it in hot water for 30 seconds--not quite boiling, but close enough. the peel will come off completely without damaging the tomato!

use your thumb nail to get under the peel for the first time, then just carefully peel off... well, the peel, piece by piece! ;) good luck, hope i helped. ;)

With a knife, seriously score the bottom put in boiling water, just for a second, then place in a bowl of ice water, I don't really like to do this, I would rather just peel them & then seed them. But I'm a little bit old fashion.

To encourage the skin to loosen, rub the tomato with the dull edge of a knife and then peel it. You may also peel certain varieties of tomatoes -- firm fleshed Romas, especially -- using a standard vegetable peeler.
