Birth control is not a sin unless you are a Catholic. But, you can get away with a vasectomy, because you only have to confess about it once. I am not a Cathloic or even a Christian really, but I do believe abortion is a choice. It is never a good choice, but sometimes it's the only one.

consider it this way, is it a sin to not use birth control or get an abortion or vasectomy? We as people of the earth have to consider our population growth when it comes to moral issues like that, yes it seems wrong to do things like that because it prevents life, however, it is wrong to not do them too. china already has population controls in place, in america it would impede upon our rights to have as many kids as we want to pass a control on our population, so we have to resort to other methods, abortion is legal, birth control, cigarrettes, sexual education, vasectomy, condoms, fear, war, things you may not even realize are happening but still are, they are a neccessary evils, it's all population control.

Abortion is the killing of human life, the foetus, therefore it is a sin. Birth control and vasectomy are not sinful acts.

a sin according to the Bible? i guess it could be considered murder. birth control and vasectomy arent though.however abortion was around during the time of jesus as well (not nearly the same way its done now but it was). touchy subject though. leaving it up to people to decide when a person obtains a soul. ima leave that one alone. lol.

Thanks For Your Question(s)

Well abortion is a sin if the baby passed 40 days because in our belief God says The life starts on The 40th day plus the sex and all the future is written in that day and it is a scientific fact that scientist failed to see the sex of the baby before the 40th day
but after that day it is considered a sin because you are now taking a life which is something horrible to do

In birth control it is also a sin only if you are afraid that you wouldn't be able to afford for a baby so you stopped, God was clear in Islam about that part, he said " Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty - We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to Al-Fawahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, and kill not anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Islamic law). This He has commanded you that you may understand.

I think it is picture clear now :) If you want to talk more about it please contact me on abouterachess@yahoo.com

People really should accept the consequences of their actions. If you get pregnant because you chose to have sex accept it.

I appreciate the need for abortion when the cause of pregnancy is rape or incest.

I think birth control of any for is a sin only when the reason is to run amuck and have guilt-free or "consequence-free" sex.

Over-indulgence is the sin.

Absolutely, without a doubt. You are killing a life form that comes from your act of copulation.
Its like killing someone while driving under the influence of alcohol. Guilty ! Birth control and vasectomy is fine in my opinion. Its like having a radar detector in your car. Know what I mean?

Abortion is murder, therefore it is wrong. I don't think that a vasectomy or most forms of birth control are wrong, as long as a fertilized egg doesn't get destroyed.
