Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price

This price is usually more than what the dealer will actually sell it for unless it's a really hot item. The MSRP is what is suggested by the manufacturer, nothing a dealer has to go by. Also might be called the "sticker price".

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.

That's the price the auto makers recommend they try to sell a vehicle for. The dealerships try to sell you the vehicle for this price (or more sometimes), but your goal is to try to get it for much less thru haggling.

We all agree. It is the "suggested price" a dealer would sell a car for when new.
