First day of school today was today; I talked and talked and talked and now I am very hoarse. I can't afford to lose my voice altogether because there's two more days of school this week, and it's kinda hard to teach without one.
If you know of a good remedy (home or otherwise) to alleviate the hoarseness (besides total silence until tomorrow--I'm planning not to say much!) please tell me.
Thank you!

My mother always recommended mixing a little honey and lemon and drinking it. Supposedly, it'll help cure it. Milk works well for me, as it coats the throat. Ice chips are a big help too. Tonight, definately just rest your voice.
