Your registration has nothing to do with your insurance. The only time you should need your reg card for insurance is to prove to the insurance co that your the owner and/or to verify who gets the check if the vehicle is totaled (ie: finance co or you).

Yes, there is no reason why it shouldn't unless you cancelled your policy. You have to let them know however, you didn't know your registration expired. Be smart about it too, their not stupid.

Usually you have a thirty day grace period in which you can reactivate coverage by paying back premiums.OOOps! my bad I thought you meant health ins.
