Yummo - I never thought to put black beans in it. I make my own salsa in huge batches and then can it. I wonder if the beans would make it through the canning process alright. That would sure help add some spice and thicken it up a little. Try to put this salsa on top of lettuce and cheese and eat it for lunch.

Sounds delicious!!! I make mine when I'm in Mexico, love to go to the markets and buy the produce. The tomato's are like candy down there!!!! I'll spend an hour or more in the Casa slicing ingredients for my salsa, find it relaxing...

I never have but I love a good salsa. It's funny seeing this question come up because I was shopping at Safeway and they had a seasoning pack to make your own salsa so I bought it. Now I need to get to it!

Great recipe! Thanks!
I always do my own saltsa! Every time is different, based on what I have in the refrigerator and my mind! Also, I use only natural ingredients!
