why do some women think that european men are more romanitc than other men?

Many of them are still in line with strict cultural values. Surprisingly enough, one of these is chivalry which many women find to be very romantic, no matter how womens' rights they may be. Often times, european men will have the mindset of a woman completing them and enhancing their lives, rather than being a booty call, sugar mama, or place to crash.

I think a lot of it is to do with "opposites attract"

Westernised women have their breath taken away by mysterious men from spain or italy who have a passionate and "attractive" lifestyle without the financial and business commitments that we find in the West.

And obviously look difffernt and hopefully better due to the fact they arent plastic unlike people from some countries, plus their languages can be very "erotic" to say the least.

Women here in America know less about European men, so there's that mystery about them. The different accents also help, depending on your tastes.

They dress well (not in baseball caps and bad jeans) and they know about food, wine, music. This applies to many age groups too where in the US most young guys are dorks and old guys are out of it. There, the age-range for hipness is much wider!
The accent is great too and since Europe is smaller, man have traveled to many other countries, US guys have not worldly experience...

because what we lack in romance we make up for in brains and personality, european men are for one gay and second have trouble speaking english, all except british lots of my friends are british.. they just speak a different language called english

It's because of their stupid language. And I guess, their accent. They mistake them for those slobbish Italians. They are not romantic at all. (inlcuding Italians)
