It's 18x20 inches, wooden panel, mixed media painting.

I can't believe how rude people are on this site!

I'm very impressed with what you have done with mixed media. The colors are great and I like the way the blue flowers stand out against the yellow background. Your attention to detail, texture and combination of different materials is very striking.

I would not sell it for anything less than $350.00 but try for more, maybe $475.00. Good Luck!

This painting is good. There would be many people out there that would be excited to flaunt & admire it on thier wall. Personally, this particular piece does not fit into my color preference of art. It's a bit too bright and whimsical for me...I just prefer a more low key, darker style. However, I do like the different materials & textures used in the making. That's not unique and not an original idea, but it is a style that creates a personal signature affect to the painting as well as to the artist. If another simular original were made...a version with earthy tones & colors...I would surely considering purchasing it.

Of course, this is not a professional appraisal, but simply a personal guess. Since created by an unknown artist...the painting would not bring in a great value...but the value would also depend on whether or not this is an original piece. I wouldn't be surprise, though, if this particular painting would fetch anywhere from $35 to $250 on the amatuer market.

NOTE:

Is this the work of the questioner? If so...you really should consider an eBay auction. It's a good way to expose your work as well as your name. Create many more paintings and open up an eBay store. After several sales, you're positive feedback alone will earn you recognition and a chance to become nationally or even internationally known. You have to start somewhere, right? I wish you all the luck in the world with your painting(s).

If this is NOT the work of the questioner....you can just ignore the note....lol. If this is a painting that you are considering buying, then you have to consider what the worth value is to you. If your idea spending price range falls into the artists price...then...what the heck...go for it.

You can post 4 images and an artist statement on the site Absolute Arts for FREE. I just joined. I ended up paying $36 for the year to post 40 pictures.

You can research other people's prices. Price really depends on a lot of factors like where you are, what your show background is, etc. When you are starting out, price cheap so you can move merchandise. Once it's at someone's house, it is there, advertising for you through them.

That depends on if you've sold before, if you're in the right market, and if someone falls for it. Value is partly how much time and experience the artist has invested over his/her career and ifhe or she has mastered the materials. The price could range from $100 to $500 for an artist who has not sold much before to up to $1,000 for somone who's been collected. You never know. But price does not always equate to good or bad.

While I don't care for the kitch style, I will say you have talent, and should focus on less overdone styles.

That being said, I would pay no more than $65 for it, as it is kitch.

It looks like you put a lot of time and effort into it. It does look nice. Its not really my style, but I agree with one of the other people, put it on ebay and see what it sells for!
