It wasn't a lie. It is called being wrong. If you say before a football game you are going to win and you believe that you will you are not lying. even if you lose you did not lie you were just wrong.
Also why is it all bushes fault? He did not use executive power to put us into Iraq. Congress voted on in with the same information bush had. Also public poles at the time showed most people felt we should attack them. It is easy to go back and blame someone. I say it is the fault of the congressmen who sent us to war, not bush for not vetoing it.
You need to go back to Jr. high and learn how the government is set up. Also go back to grade school to learn the difference between the words lie and wrong.
Next time you see a senator bad mouthing bush for the war you should look at which way they voted on that bill. The loudest people blaming bush are the ones that sent us to war. They realized it was a mistake and if they wanted to get reelected they had to make it not their fault. Enter the presidential scapegoat.
Are you aware that every marine who died is a volunteer? We do not have the draft. They joined a branch that has a nick name of bullet catchers. Why do you think they get good money to work out and shoot guns? Because they might die.
It would be silly to think your job was to practice fighting all the time and never do it. What kind of moron would sine up for infantry or to drive a tank or anything like that and not realize if there is a battle they are going to fight? If you join the marines and don't know you might die you deserve to die for being dumb, hopefully before you have kids and pass on those genes.

I was a career Soldier. We took an oath to defend this country and to follow the orders that could get us killed. When we died we made this a better place for everyone. killed today. No US military have been killed today.
